Ionware, Inc. is a software company with emphasis in handheld computing solutions. Currently, we develop for both PalmOS and PocketPC platforms. We are located in Chesterfield, Missouri with international sales. Our specialty is to provide solutions to individuals, businesses and governments that will automate special needs using small, very efficient handheld computers.

First of all, we are software users. We know what it is like to be frustrated by problems in the installation and usage of software. We listen to our customers. Users know a lot about what works well for them -- and what does not work. Our ears are open to criticism, new ideas and new products.

Our design and product goals:

• make it simple to avoid complex training
• make it reliable so it becomes a tool
• make it small and tight so it doesn't break
• make it synchronize in the smallest amount of time
• make it affordable so small business and government entities do not overspend on our products, allowing them to allocate their resources for other more important tasks, goals, problems or projects
• make it commit to computer storage to avoid paper storage
• make it possible to perform upgrades with an easy and painless process

The marvel of handhelds is that you get a tremendous amount of computer power in a small package. Many technology soldiers have gone before us to discover and to fail, arriving at a technology solution which is layers and layers of complexity. The problem becomes a burden to the user, a product with a myriad of complex layers that build on each other. Building applications that stand the test of time requires commitment and resourcefulness. Well serving applications are not built overnight but are continuously improved upon. Ionware has committed ourselves to these technologies and we take the effort to make them work in our delivered products.

Organizations with problems to be solved with handheld software can look to Ionware to build applications. Organizations have larger demands for their time than trying to develop handheld solutions which are unique to them and ultimately become a support and maintenance burden.
